The MLGS has helped with the purchase of many items of equipment both medical and domestic in addition to enabling the refurbishment of the Out Patients/Day Unit. This has ensured that patients are treated in an efficient yet comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Funds raised by the MLGS have set up a bone marrow transplant facility at the Hospital ensuring patients receive the most up to date treatments. The MLGS has also provided funding for nurses to continue to undergo specialist training.
